Spiral Up Games – a Singapore-based video game publisher – is looking to hire a Community Manager. We are an international game publisher for high quality PC indie games, headquartered in Singapore. Its team members comprise experienced game veterans with decades of combined experience in indie game development and marketing. Our mission is to find the hidden gems of the indie market and polish them into shining diamonds so that they can be enjoyed and celebrated by gamers worldwide.

Job Scope

  • Interact with fans and gamers on our social media pages and Steam pages, creating a lively and engaged community around our games.
  • Ensure all important events (sales, game updates, announcements, etc) are communicated effectively across all Steam and social media channels.
  • Reach out to relevant online communities to increase outreach and engagement.
  • Connect with influencers on social media to create rapport and generate exposure for our games.
  • Ultimately, the KPI is to (1) manage the fan communities for our games and (2) help grow the social media accounts in size and engagement alongside the Social Media Manager.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess the Following Traits and Skills

  • Education and/or experience in community management/social media/digital marketing.
  • A passion for gaming (or a genuine desire to learn about the industry) and an ability to understand the tides and currents of the industry.
  • Good command of written and spoken English. Chinese language skills would be a bonus.
  • Strong organizational skills, a passion for planning and second-level thinking.
  • The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration and initiative skills, being sensible, and showing genuine initiative in contributing ideas.
  • The ability to pay attention to details, being responsible and reliable.
  • A cheerful, positive attitude and genuine team-player.
  • A strong drive to improve and upgrade constantly.
  • Bonus Skills: Basic Graphics Design, FB/IG/Google Ad Manager, Videography/Photography Skills, Multi-Lingual.

Technical Qualifications

  • Education and/or experience in community management/social media/digital marketing.
